Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Organizations

Thousands of families across dozens of Western Kentucky counties were catastrophically impacted by the historic tornado outbreak. The short list below contains reputable and trusted organizations that are providing disaster relief. All of these organizations accept tax-deductible contributions. THE LEE INITIATIVE
The
LEE Initiative has pledged and spent $15,000 on food to be served early this week from local food trucks and said planning is underway for “relief and holiday meals / toys as all of the people who lost homes will be in shelters through the holidays.”

THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY
The
Community Foundation of Western Kentucky has set up the West Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund and is accepting monetary contributions to support emergency relief efforts. 

THE WESTERN KENTUCKY CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
The
Western Kentucky Chapter of the American Red Cross is accepting contributions on its Facebook page and via direct contribution to 1700 Frederica St., Suite 105, Owensboro, KY 42301.   

THE GLOBAL EMPOWERMENT MISSION
The
Global Empowerment Mission – in partnership with Louisville City Football Club, Racing Louisville Football Club, Aerial Recovery Group, Good360, Goya, UC Group – is mobilizing and will be supporting affected communities immediately.

TEAM RUBICON
The California-based
Team Rubicon has organized a team of military veterans and volunteers to clear roads in Benton, Mayfield, and surrounding counties. You may also make a contribution online.
